On September 5, 2024, the "Masterpiece of Electrophysiology – International Forum on Electrophysiological Technologies and Clinical Applications," hosted by the Asia Heart Rhythm Association (ACAS), successfully brought together leading global experts in the field of electrophysiology. This event, chaired by Professor Yan Yao (Fuwai Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, China), Professor Jose Luis Merino (La Paz University Hospital, Spain), and Professor Néstor Hugo López Cabanillas (Adventist Cardiovascular Research Institute, Buenos Aires, Argentina), highlighted the latest innovations in electrophysiological technology and their clinical applications.

During the conference, the discussions focused on the clinical application of the Columbus™ system and TrueForce™ catheter in atrial fibrillation (AF) ablation. Professor Li-Gang Ding (Fuwai Hospital, China) shared his experience in applying the Columbus™ system for AF treatment. Subsequently, Professor Néstor Hugo López Cabanillas introduced preliminary results on the use of the EasyStars™ catheter in managing atrial fibrillation and accessory pathways. Professor Emin Evren Özcan (Dokuz Eylul University, Turkey) rounded out the presentations with a detailed explanation of the Columbus™ system's technical applications and clinical insights in AF ablation.

The expert panel discussion, moderated by Professor Xiaogang Guo (Fuwai Hospital, China), included esteemed professionals such as Professor Kaijun Cui (West China Hospital, Sichuan University), Professor Bingwei Chen (Tianjin First Central Hospital), Professor Chunhua Ding (Peking University Aerospace Center Hospital), and Professor Jun Liu (Fuwai Hospital). Their expert perspectives further enriched the forum, facilitating the exchange of cutting-edge knowledge and enhancing collaboration within the electrophysiology community.

This forum not only provided a platform for global experts to share best practices but also underscored the importance of collaboration and innovation in the rapidly evolving field of electrophysiology. By fostering deep conversations and sharing breakthrough findings, the event helped to inspire future research and set a new benchmark for clinical excellence. As the world of electrophysiology continues to grow, platforms like these play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of technologies and treatments, ultimately improving patient care and outcomes worldwide.
